Morning glory pinwheel

Blue bell-shaped flowers seem to whirl on the four panels of the cube. Based on a traditional Japanese family crest, the flowers are constructed of blue and green dyed poplar veneer against a natural maple veneer background.

Cube is constructed of solid maple with dyed veneer inlay. Beveled frames around artwork reflect light and cast shadows that create a sense of depth. Finished in clear lacquer or optional hand-rubbed, organic oil. Child-safe lid. 20" high x 17" wide x 17" deep.
